Associate Professor Sakai will join to the MOCTION 5th Anniversary Event and a lecture hosted by the Chiba City Museum of Science
MOCTION 5th Anniversary Event (February 12)
MOCTION is a hub dedicated to promoting the appeal of domestically produced timber, operated through collaboration between the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and regions across Japan.
In December 2025, MOCTION celebrated its 5th anniversary, and a commemorative event will be held on February 12–13, 2026, within the venue of “WOOD Collection (Mokukore) 2026.”
Associate Professor Sakai will participate as a panelist in Special Program 2 below.

Lecture at the Chiba City Museum of Science (February 14)
The Chiba City Museum of Science hosts a series titled “大人が楽しむ科学教室”.
Associate Professor Sakai will give a lecture on February 14 entitled:
“Concrete: The Most Familiar Construction Material and Environmental Issues — Recycling Rubble and Food Loss Together!”
